(AN ORDINANCE AMINDING .AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR COMPFNSATION OF
ELECTION JUD�ES.)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS :
SECTION 1. That Section 8 of Chapter XVI of the Revised
Ordinances of the City of Canton, Illinois 1959 be and the same
hereby is amen�ed to read as follows :
"Sec. 8. Compensation of Judges. The compensation
of each judge shall be twenty dollars for each election; and the
room rent allowed for each room or building used as a polling
place shall be f ive dollars. "
SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall be in effect upon
its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this
5th day of December� A.D. 1972.
