WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the
City of Canton, Illinois, that the territory hereinafter described
in Exhibit A has heretofore been zoned as R-4 by the City of
Canton, Illinois; and
It further appearing to the said City Council that a
public hearing with no objectors present was held and that the
Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Canton has recom-
mended unanimously that the property be rezoned B-2; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City
of Canton, Illinois, that said property should be rezoned to
B-2, General Business District.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
CQUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the territory described in the
attached Exhibit A be, and the same is hereby rezoned to B-2.
Section 2. That proper changes shall be effected
upon the zoning maps of this city by the City Clerk and the City Engineer.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in effect from
and after a majority vote of the City Council of the City of Canton,
Illinois, and approval by the Mayor.
PASSED by a �a.-�ilcr� "aye" and "no" vote of the
City Council and approved by the Mayor this day of November,
