WHEREAS , it appears to the City Council of the City
of Canton , Illinois , that the territory hereinafter described
is not within the corporate limits of any municipality but is
contiguous to the City of Canton , ( llinois ; and
WHEREAS it further appears to the said City Council

and tne owners of record of all the land with'in said territory
have requested that it be annexed to said City, as shown by the
records of this Council ;
