.AN ORDIlV,ANCE AMENDIlV� AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE PROHIBITION
OF THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR AT CERTAIN TIMES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
ILLINO,IS :
SECTION l. That Section 7 of Chapter 23 of the Revised
Ordinances of the City of Canton, Illinois 1959 be, and the same
hereby is� amended to read as follows :
"Sec. 7. SALES PROHIBITED AT CERTAIN TIMES. No
person licensed under this Chapter to sell alcoholic
liquor shall sell� offer for sale, give or in any
other manner transfer the possession of any alcoholic
liquor after twelve otclock midnight or before six
o 'clock in the �orenoon of each week day; nor from
twelve o �clock midnight on Saturdays to six oEclock
in the �orenoon on the Monday following. tt
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force upon
its passage by the City Council and approval of the Mayor.
