To annex certain property located West of the
corporate limits generally along Route 9,
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, �
Illinois, that the Circuit Court of the Ninth Judi.cial Circuit, Fulton County,
Illinois, has found that the territory hereinafter d�scribed is subject to
annexation by the municipality of the City of Canto:� and is contiguous to
said City and that all o±her requirements for annexation have been satisfied;

Sectiorz 3. That a certified copy of this ordinance tobether with
an accurate map of the t�rritory above desc'ribed shall be record�d with the
Record�r of Deeds of Fulton County, Illinois.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in effect thirty (30) days
after a majority vote of the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois, and
approval by the Mayor.
Passed by a majority vote of the City Council and approved by
