AN ORDINANCE REZONIN� CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE St?UTH
SIDE OF MYRTLE STREET BETWEEN 9th AND llth AVENUES IN THE CITY OF
CANTON, ILLINOIS FROM R-2 TO R-3 CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREA.S, it has been recommended to the City Council
of the City of Canton, Illinois, after notice and hearing,
that the realty hereinafter described be rezoned,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT, AND IT HEREBY IS ORDAINED BY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANT�N, ILLINOIS AS F+()LLOWS :
SECTI�N l. That the following described realty, to-wit :
Lots 11, 12, 13 and 14 in B. H. Taylor �s Second
Addition to the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois, except the West 60 feet and the East
65 feet thereof and excepting the South 20 feet of
Lot 14, all situated in the County of Fulton and
State of Illinois.
be and the same hereby is rezoned from R-2 to R-3 zoning
classification under the zoning ordinances of the City of Canton,
Illinois.
SECTION 2. That the rezoning to R-3 classif ication,
as above provided shall be effective upon the passage of this
Ordinance and approval thereof by the Mayor.
SECTION 3. That the proper officials of this City
shall mark the appropriate zoni�tg map to show the rezoning
herein ordained.
FASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor
this 17th day of October, A.D. 1972.
