ORDINANCE N0. .3 �3
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STOP SIGNS AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF AVENUES
F, G, AND H WITH WEST WALNUT STREET.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CTTY OF C.ANTON,
ILLINOIS :
SECTION l. That stop signs shall be placed at each of
the northwest and southeast corners of each of Avenues F. �, and H
with West Walnut Street in the City of Canton, Illinois, and, when-
ever a driver of a vehicle shall approach I�Test Walnut Street from
either direction on any of said Avenues F, G and H, he shall bring
his vehicle to a complete stop and then proceed with caution when
a safe interval occurs.
SECTION 2. That the proper officials of the City shall
post signs informing persons of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. That any person who shall be convicted of a
violation of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be
punished by a fine of not less than �5.00 nor more than �200.00.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten days
after its passage by the Council, approval by the Mayor and publica-
tion according to law.
