, �� �r WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of '

within the corporate limits of any mun�cipali�y but is cor.tiguous ,
to the City of Canton, Tllinois; and
WHEREA.S, this Council acted favorably pn a request to
zone said property hereinafter described to B-2 on March 28, 1972;
and
It further appearing to the said City Council that no electors

reside in said territory hereinafter described and that the owner
of record of all of the land within said territory has requested that
it be annexed to said City.
THEREFORE, BE TT OR DAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the territory described as follows:
The West One-half of the Northwest �ua�ter of the
Southwest Q,uarter of Section 25, Township 7 North,
Range 4� East of the Fourth Principal Meridian,
Fulton County, Illinois, except a tract in the Southwest
corner thereof with East-West dimensions of 200 feet
and North-South dimensions of 436. 5 feet,
be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Canton, Illinois.
Section 2. That this property be, and it is hereby zoned
B-2, General Business District.
Section 3. That a certified copy of this Ordinance together
with an accurate map of the territory above described shall be recorded
with the Recorder of Deeds of Fulton County, Illinois.

Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in effect from
and after a two-thirds "aye" and "noe" vote of the City Council
of the City of Canton, Illinois and app:oval by the 1�ayor.
PASSED by a two-thirds "::�ye" and "r�oe" vote of the City >
Council and approved by the Mayor this �=�='�day of April, A.. D.
1972.
