ORDINANCE NO.
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City
of Canton, Illinois, that the territory hereinafter de-
scribed is not within the corporate limits of any munici-
pality but is contiguous to the City of Canton, Illinois;
and
WHEREAS it further appears to the said City Council
that all the electors residing in said territory herein-
after described and the owners of record of all the land
within said territory have requested that it be annexe:l
to said City, as shown by the records of this Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAIND BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS;
Section 1. That the territory described as follows:
Lots 18 through 27,0 .inclusively of W..
V. Young's Subdivision of Part of the
SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 2S,
Township 7 North, Rang 4 East of the
Fourth Principal Meridian, situated
in the County of Fulton and State of
Illinois as the some are shown by the
Plat of said W. V. Young's Subdivision
which is recorded in the Fulton County
Illinois Land Records as Instrument No.
327876 in Volume 588, at Page 421 thereof
all situa *ed in the County of Fulton and
State of Illinois,
BE AND IT IS HEREBY ANNEXED to the City
of Canton, Illinois.
Section 2. That a certified copy of this Ordinance,
tosether with an accurate map of the ter-
ritory above described, shall be recorded
with the Recorder of Deeds if Fulton County,
Illinois.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in affect from
and after a two- thirds "aye" and "no" vote
Of the City Council of the City of Canton,
Illinois, and approval by the Mayor.
Section 4. That this property shall be zoned R -1 cmsi-
