(AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON PARK COURT AND MARTIN AVENUE IN THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS.) BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS: SECTION l; That no motor vehicle shall be parked (as defined by the Ordinances of the City of Canton, Illinois) on the West side of Park Court in the City of Canton, Illinois from the South curb line of West Walnut Street to the North curb line of West Maple Street. SECTION 2: That no motor vehicle shall be parked (as defined by the Ordinances of the City of Canton, Illinois) on the West side of Martin Avenue in the City of Canton, Illinois from the South curb line of West Pine Street to the North curb line of West Walnut Street for more than two consecutive hours between the hours of 8:00 o'clock in the morning and 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon (local time) on any duy excepting of Sundays and legal holidays. SECTION 3: That the proper officials of the City shall post signs informing persons of this Ordinance. SECTION 4: That any person who shall be convicted of a violation of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not less than 35.00 nor more than $200.00. SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten days after its passage by the Council, approval by the Mayor and publication according to law.
