ORDINANCE NO. /
(AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN REALTY TO BE USED BY THE CITY OF
CANTON, ILLINOIS FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING A FIRE STATION THEREON)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Canton,
Illinois, after notice and hearing, has recommended the rezoning of
the realty hereinafter described to a zoning classification which
would permit the utilization thereof by said City for the purpose
of operating a fire station thereon,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
1. ThAt the following described realty, to -wit:
Lots Numbered Thirty -one (31) and Thirty -two (32)
in Marshall and Fisher's Addition to the City of
Canton, situated in the County of Fulton, in
the State of Illinois',
be, and the same hereby is rezoned from its zoning classification
under the Ordinances of this City of R -2 to that of B -2 classifica-
tion under the Ordinances of this City and for the purpose of operating
a fire station thereon by this City.
2. That the proper officials of this City mark the Zoning
Map of this City to reflect the zoning classification of said realty
hereby established.
3. That this Ordinance be in full force and effect upon
its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and
approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois
