` �,� Rezoning a Part of Lot No. 76 in
the Original Town of Canton, Illinois
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton
that the territory hereina,fter described is zoned R.-3, 'I�wo-family
Residential, but tha.t the Planning and Zoning Commission of said City
has recommended that the zoning be cha.nged to R-4, Multiple Reaiden-
tial; and
It further appearing to the said. City Council that all of the
requisites for rezoning said, property have been rnet and that a hearing
was held. on August 13, 1973 at which time there were no objectors
present and further that the hold.er of an option on the following described
land ha.s requested that it be rezoned from R.-3, Two-family Residential,
to R-4, Multiple Resid.ential;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAllVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. Tha,t the territory described as:
113 feet of even width off the West end of Lot Number 76 in the
Original Town of Canton, situated in the City of Canton, County
of Fulton and. State of Illinois,
be, and, the same is hereby rezoned from R.-3, 'I�vo-family R•esidential,
to R-4, Multiple Residential.
Section 2. Tha,t a copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with the
City Clerk and the proper changes be effected on the zoning maps of the
City of Canton, Illinois.
Section 3. Tha,t this �rdinance shall be in effect from and after a
majority vote of the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois, and
approval of the Mayor.
