WHEREAS , it appears to the City Council of the City
of Canton, I1linois that the territory hereinafter de-
.
scribed as Tract I is not within the corporate limits of
any mun�icipality but is contiguous to th� City of Canton, °
I1linois and
It further appearing to the said City Council that
all the electors residing in said territory hereinafter
described and that the owners of record of all the land
within said territory have reQuested that it be annexed
to said City and �
It further appearing that the territory hereinafter
described as Tract II is a part of the territory or realty
described as Tract I herein and that all the electors
residing in said territory hereinafter described and the
owners of record of all the land within said territory
have requested that it be zoned B-� as shown by the
;
records of this council.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CiTY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS :
Section 1. That tne territory described as Tract I
as follows : �
A part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter of Section 25 in Township 7 North , Range
4 East of the Fourth Principal Meridian , situated
in t�he City of Canton, County of Fulton and State
of Illinois , described as follows : ' �'�
Beginning 1368. 4 feet South of a stake set at the
Northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of said �`
Southwest Quarter running thence East 110 feet ,
thence North 396 feet, thence West 110 feet , thence �'�,
South 39� feet to the place of beginning , containing '�
one acre of land more or less
be and is hereby annexed to the City of Canton , Illinois .
Section 2. Tllat a certified copy of this ordinance
together with an accurate map of the territory above de-
scribed shall be recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of
Fulton County , Illinois .

Section 3. That the territory described as follows :

Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in effect
from and after majority vote of the city council of the
City of Canton , Illinois and approval of the Mayor.
