' WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City
of Canton, I1linois that the territory herein after de-
�
scribed as Tract I is not within the corporate limits of
any municipality b ut is contiguous to the City of Canton,
Illinois and
It further appearing to the said City Council that
all the electors residing in said territory herein after
described and that the owners of record of a11 the land
within said territory have requested that it be annexed �
to said city and ,
It further appearing that the territory hereinafter
described as Tract II is a part of the territory or realty
described as Tract I herein and that all the electors
residing in said territory he�einafter described and the
owners of record of all the land within said territory
have requested that it be zoned B-2 as shown by the
records of this council.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the territory described as Tract I
as follows :
A part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter of Section 25 in Township 7 North, Range
4 East of the Fourth Princip al Meridian, situated
in the City of Canton, County of Fulton and State
of I1linois, described as follows :
Beginning 1368. 4 feet South of a stake set at the
Northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of said
Southwest Quarter running thence East 110 feet, thence
North 396 feet, thence West 110 feet, thence South
396 feet to the place of beginning, containing one
acre of 1and, more or less
be and is hereby annexed to the City of Canton , Illinois .
Section 2 . That a certified copy of this ordin ance
together with an accurate map of the territory above
described shall be recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of
Fulton County, Illinois .

Section 3. That the territory described as follows :
TRACT II
A part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter of Section 25 in Township 7 North, Range
4 East of the Fourth Principal Meridian, situated
in the City of Can ton, County of Fulton an d State
of Illinois , described as follows :
Beginning 1368. 4 feet South of a stake set at the
Northwest Corner of the Northeast Quarter of said
Southwest Quarter running thence E ast 110 . 06 feet,
thence North 119 . 52 feet, thence West 110 . 06 feet,
thence South 116 feet to the place of beginnin g.
Section 4. Said property above described as Tract II
sha11 be zoned B-2 .
Section 5 . That this ordin ance sha11 be in effect •
from an d after maj•ority vote of the city council of the
City of Canton, Illinois and approval of the Mayor.
PASSED by vote of the City Council and approved by
