A RESOLUTION APPROVING A TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF CANTON AND WESTERN ILLINOIS REGIONAL
COUNCIL FOR COMPLETION OF AN APPLICATION FOR DESIGN
ENGINEERING/PUBLIC FACILITIES-GRANT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois has reviewed the
terms- of said. Agreement,- a-copy of which is. attached hereto and. made-apart hereof as
Exhibit A; and,
WHEREAS,_the City Council of the City of Canton,.. Illinois- has determined that it
is in the best interest of the City of Canton to approve said Agreement.
NOW,- THEREFORE,. BE_ IT RESOLVED BY THE.. CITY GOUNCiL OF
THE CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That. said Agreement,.. a copy of which. is attached. hereto and. rnado a part
hereof as Exhibit A, is hereby approved pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth
therein..
2. That.. this Resolution. shall- be in full. force- and- effect. immediately uppn its
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois and approval by
the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council. of the. City of Canton,. Fulton. County,.. Illinois, at a
regular meeting this 16th day of June, 1998, upon a roll call vote as follows:

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, made and concluded this (L day of ,
1998, between the City of Canton, hereafter referred to as the City, and the Western
Illinois Regional Council, hereafter referred as WIRC, WITNESSETH:
That said WIRC, at the request of the City, does agree to perform the following:
completion of an application for Design Engineering/Public Facilities grant funds
through the Illinois Community Development Assistance Program. The City hereby
agrees to pay WIRC an amount of $650.00 for the completion of the grant process.
Payment is due upon completion of the application and presentation of a bill by the
WIRC to the City.
In Witness Whereof, WIRC and the City have hereunto respectively set their hands and
seals on the day and year first written.
