t WIIEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of
Canton, Illinois that the territory hereinafter described is not
within the corporate limits of ar�y municipality but is contiguous
tA ��e C�ty of C�nt�n, I�.�.�.na�s ; and,
WHEREAS, it further appears that all the electors residing
in said territory and that all of the owners of record thereof
have requsted that it be annexed to said City ; and,
WHEREAS, it further appears to the Planning Commission of
said, City, after notice and hearing, has recommended the rezoning
of said territory to the zoning classification of I-1 under the
Zoning Ordinances of said City,
NOW, THEREFORE, tSE IT ORDA IlVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS :
Section lo That the territory described as follows :
. Beginning at a point marked by an iron pin on the
�" North line of Section 15, T 7 N. , R� 4 E, 4th PoM.
Fulton County, Illinois,� being West a distance of
466000 fto from the Northeast corner of said Section
15 ; thence continuing West on said North line a
distance of 300.00 ft. to an iron .pin marker ; thence
S 1° 20 ' 58" W, a distance of 600.00 ft. to an iron pin
marker ; thence East a distance of 300°00 fto to a
concrete marker ; thence N 1° 20 ' S8" E, a distance of
600000 ft. to the point oi beginning;.___---- �'
be and the same hereby is annexed to the City of Canton, Illinois.
Section 2o Th at said territory be, and the same hereby is
zoned as I-1 zoning classification under the zoning ordinances of
this Cityo
Section 3. That a certified copy of this ordinance tog.ether
with an accurate map of the territory above described shall be
recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of �ulton County, Illinoiso
Section 4o That this Ordinance shall be in eff ect from
and after majority vote of the City Council of the City of Canton,
Illinois and approval of the Mayora .
