ORDINANCE N0. � ��
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CUUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section 8 of Chapter 23 of the Revised
Ordinances of the City of Canton, Illinois, 1959 be, and the same
hereby is, amended to read as follows :
"Sec. 8 SALES PROHIBITED T4 CERTAIN F'ERSONS.) No
licensee shall sell, give, or deliver alcoholic liquor to
any minor, or to any intoxicated person or to any person
known by him to be an habitual drunkard, spendthrift, or
insane, feeble-minded or distracted person, and provided
no minor shall enter any place sel.ling intoxicating
liquors at retail unless accompanied by his or her
parent, provided, however, that a licensee may sell,
give, or deliver beer or wine to a person of the age
of 19 years and upward as provided by the law of the
State of Illinois. "
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect upon its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton,
Illinois and approval of the Mayor thereof.
