SEC. 1. 7'hat the Ca�t_ion and Sections 1 and 2 of Arl;icle TI of
Chaper VII of the T2evised Ordinances of the �ity of Canton,
Illinois 1959 be, and the same h�reby are, amBnded to read as
follows :

Sec. l. ilEF'I1�ITI01� . ) A coin-operated machine,
within the meanin� of th.is ordinancg, sha11 be a
machine, for amusementtor otherwisey which depends ,
for its operation and t�ie fulfillment of i1;s intended
�urpose, upon a de�osit or insertion into the machine
itself of a coin authorized as le�al tender by the
United States of America.
Sec. 2. LICEN�L; IZi�t�UI��1:17.) Lvery ��erson, firm or
Corporation, o�erating its Place of business or
carryin� on its activities at a location within the
territorial limits of the City of Canton, Illinois,
shall first obtain a license for each maclzine
operated or active at such location. The annual
license fee .for each such machine shall be the sum
of. �10.00 payable annually in advance and no fee
or portion thereof stiall be refiznded. The license
shall be displayed on each machine at all times. "
SEC. 2. 'I'hat this Ordinance shall be in fu11 force and effect
upon its passage by the City Caunci]. of the City of Canton,
Illinois and approval by the A'Yayor thereof.
