; WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City

of Canton, Tllinois, that the territory hereinafter�described is
not within the corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous
to the City of Canton, Illinois; and
It furth�r appearing to the said City Council that the sole
� elector residing in said territory hereinafter describe d and that the
sole owr�er of record of all the land within said territory has requested
that it be annexed to the said City as shown by the records of this
C ounc il.

THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:

Section 1. That the territory described as follows:
A part of the North One-Third of the Northeast
` �,uarter of Section 22, Township 7 North, Range
4 East of the Fourth Principal Meridian, situated
in the County of Fulton, State of Illinois, lying on
the East side of North Main Street Limits Road and

Northwest corner of said tract as a place of beginning,
thence South 150•feet along the East side of road, thence
East 150 feet parallel with the North line of said section,
thence North 150 feet, thence West 150 feet to the pla.ce
of beginning, excepting that part deeded to the State of
Illinois for highway purposes, situated in the County of
Fulton and State of IIlinois;
be, and it is hereby annexed to the City of Canton, Illinois.
Section 2. That a certified copy of this Ordinance �
together with an accurate map of the territory above described shall
be recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of Fulton County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in effect from and

City of Canton, Illinois, and approval by the Mayor.
