WHEREAS it appears to the City Council of the City of
Canton , 111inois , that the territory hereinafter described is
within the corporate limits of said municipality , and that the
owner thereof has appeared before the Planning and Zoning Com-
mission of said city, requesting that the property hereinafter
described be rezoned from R-1 to R-4 zoning classificatton ;
and
WHEREAS said Planning and Zoning Commission of the City
of Canton , Illinois , has recommended to the City Council of the
City of Canton , Itlinois , that sald real estate be re-zoned in
accordance with said petition ;
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CANTON , ILLINOIS :
SECTION 1 . That the real estate described as follows :
Lot 5 , WYSONG ' S ADDITION to the Clty of Canton ,
County of Fulton , State of Illinois , commonly
known as 341 West Maple Street , Canton , I111 -
nois ,
BE AND IT ( S HEREBY RE-ZONED FROM R-1 TO R-4
ZONING CLASSIFICATiON UNOER THE ZONING ORDIN-
ANCE OF THIS CITY .
SECTION 2 . That this ordinance shall be in effect from and after
a two-thirds "aye" and "no" vote of the City Council
of the City of Canton , Illinois , and approval by the
Mayor.
PASSED by a two-thirds "aye" an,d "no" vote of the City Council and
