ORDINANCE � y J
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois
that the territory hereinafter described has heretofore been zoned as partially
R-1 and partially AG-1; and
WHEREAS, it further appearing to the City Council that a public hear-
ing with no objectors present was held before the Planning �.nd Zoning Commis
sion for the City of Canton, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, it appearing to the City Council of th��City of Canton, Illinoi ,
that said property should be rezoned to B-2, general business district;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT
OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the territory described as follows:
Lots Ten (10) and Eleven (11) in Jackson�s Subdivision of a part
of the Southwest Qu�.rter of Section Thirty-three (33) in Town-
ship Seven (7) North of the Base Line, Range Four (4) East of
the Fourth Principal Meridian, Fulton County, Illinois, and a
part of Lot Twelve (12) in said Jackson�s Subdivision, des-
cribed as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of
said Lot Twelve (12) and running thence in a Southwesterly
direction along the North Line of said Lot 50 feet, thence
South on a line parallel to the East line of said lot, 496. 7
feet to the South line of said lot, thence in a Northeasterly
direction along the South line of said lot to the Southeast
Corner of said lot and thence North along the East line of
said Lot 12, 496. 7 feet, to the point of beginning.

Section 2. That the proper changes shall be effected upon the zoning
maps of this City by the City Clerk and City Engineer.
Section 3. That this Ordinance be in effect from and after a majority
