F '. .y►'; -�- . .. }. •r � ' " s.+�' `.jjf� . � � 4 � ' ° � �,�" ����%"�. `�,`" -�� �I t v��V � �HEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, �� �� Illinois, that the territory hereinafter described has heretofore been zoned as R-3, residential cla.ssification, by the City of Canton, Il]inois; and It further a�pearing to the said City Council that a public hearing with no objectors present was held and that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Canton has recommended unanimously that the property be rezoned R-4, Multiple Fam3.ly Residential, and that the utilization thereof as a mental health clinic provided for public ingress and egress from Maple Street; and WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois, that said property should be rezoned to R--4, Multiple Family ResidentiaL THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the territory described as follows: A part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast C,�uarter of Section Number 34, Township 7 North, Range 4 East of the Fourth Principal Meridian, bounded and described a s follow s: Beginning �t a point on the Ea.st line of South Avenue B in the City of Canton, 380 feet South and 40 feet East of a stone at the Northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter, thence North 85°43' East 239. 5 feet, more or less, thence North 211 feet, more or less, to a point 139 feet South of the Northeast corner of Lot 6, Heirs of T. W, Snyder's Addition to the City of Canton, thence West 12 4 feet, more or less, to a point on the East line of Martin Avenue, thence South 24° West 237. 5 feet, more or less, to a cedar sta.ke, thence South 3°1?' East 18. 5 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning; situated in the City of Canton, County of Fulton and Sta.te of Illinois; be and the same is hereby rezoned to R-4. Section 2. That proper changes shall be effected upon the zoning maps of this City by the City Clerk and the City Engineer.
