WHEREAS , it appears to the City Council of the City of
Canton, Illinois , that the territory hereina�ter described
is within the corporate limits of the City of Canton and is
presently zoned R-2 , and that the Community Workshop &
Training Center Inc. , an Illinois not-�or-profit corporation,
has petitioned the City of Canton requesting that it be
rezoned B-2 ,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. That the following described area be rezoned
B-2 :
TRACT I
Lot 2 in Block 1 in Smith & Johnson's Addition to
the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois
'I'RACT II
A part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 27 ,
Township 7 North, Range 4 East of the Fourth
Principal Meridian, Canton, Fulton County, Illinois
described as follows ;
Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot #2 ,
Block #1 in Smith & Johnson' s Addition to the City
of Canton, in said quarter, running thence North
63 feet, thence East 146 feet, thence South 63
feet, and thence West to the place of beginning,
146 feet; also known as Lot #3 , Hlock �4 in JOSEPH
ZWISLER'S ADDITION to Canton, Illinois
TRACT III
The South 63 �eet of the West 56 feet of Lot 5 in
B1ock 4 in ZWISLER'S ADDITION to the City of
Canton, situated in Fulton County, Illinois
SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall be in effect from and
after passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Illinois and approval by the Mayor.
