WHEREAS, Renneth F. Finn is a o�mer�and Finn Corp. doiag busiaess as Fina s
Interiors is a Lessee, of a "Shopping Center" Which controla a parkin area loca -
ed within the Corporate limits of the City of Canton, Illinois, as contemplated
by Chap. 95�, Sec. 11-209, Ill. Rev. Ststs. (1975); and,
WSE$EAS, said Renaeth F. Finn and Finn Corp, doing busineas as Finn's
Interiors, has contracted with the City of Cantoa, Illinois, pursuant to park-
ing of sutomobiles on said parlcing area.
Now, therefore� be it ordained by the City Couacil of the City of Canton,
Illinois as follows:
a. "Park", or "parking": Means the stand�ng of a uwtor vehicle, whether
occupied or aot, otherwise then when temporariiy and actuallq engaged in loadin
aad unloading merchandise or passengers.
b. "Parking area": Means that area. provided. for. t&e use of motor vehicle .>>
in connectioa with the buainessea Fian's Interiora, aaid facilities beiag geo-
erallq located at the address of 488 N. Main Stieet in the City of Caaton, I11-
iaois on the follawing described realty:
A tract of land described as being a part of Lot 4, Alock 1 in .Smith
aad Johnson Addition to the City of Canton, and a part of the Ncrtheast
Quarter of Section 27 in Townshp 7 North� Range 4 East of the Fourth
Principal Meridian, described as follows: Co�encing at the Northeast
corner of said Lot 4 in Block 1 in Smith and Johnson's Addition to the
City of Canton, at the Southweat corner of North Main and �lest Olive
Streets, theace South 107 feet, thence West 95 feet, theace North 107
feet, thence East 95 feet to the place of beginniag, all situated in
the City of Canton, in the Count� of Fulton and State of Illinois.
and vhich said realty is generally located on the West side of Maia Street aad
the south side of Olive Street in the City of Canton, Illinois.

Section 2. That it shall be unlaWful for aay person,aot specifically
authorized by ageata of or representatives of the said Finn's Iateriors, or
not actively utiliziag the facilitiea or said parties to parh a motor vehicle
at atry place in or on the parking area, herein contemplated, duriag the foll
iag times:
a. Betveen the hours of �siz (6) o'clock in the eveaing and eight (8)
o'clock A.l�i. ia the morniag of each day commencing on each I�unday through each
day thereafter to each�sncceeding�Suaday� at eight (8) o'clock A.M.
b. Between the hours of eight (8) o'eloek A.M. on�-Sunday morning until
eight (8) o'clock. A.M. in the.morning of each. Monday .thereafter succeediag; and
c. At any time during generally.recogaized...bolidaps._
Section 3. That it shall be primafacie evidence that any person who parks
a motor vehicle in or on said parking area during the periods herin prohibited
is not suthorized to do so and is aot actively utilizing the facilities of
Finn's Interiors.
Section 4. That the Police Chief of this City shall cause appropriate
signs to be posted informing persons of this ordinance.
Section 5. That any person vho violates aay of the pravisiona hereof
shall be punished by fine of not less than $5.00 nor aoore than $200.00 for each
such violatioa.
Section 6. That this ordinance..shall.be.in. full force and effect after
passage by the City Council, approval by the Hayor, and publication according
to law.
PASSED BY THE City Council of the City of Cantoa, Illiaois and approved
