Annexing property of S. B. Pilcher to the
City o.f Canton, Illinois
V7HEP.EAS, it appears to the City Council of the City
of Canton, Illinois , that the territory hereinafter described
is not within the corporate limits of any municipality but is
contiguous to the City of Canton, Illinois; and
It further appearing to said City Council that this
property is located in a residential area and is well suited
for residential purposes ; and
It further appearing that there has been a Petition
for Rezoning filed by the petitioner and hearing has b�en
had thereon and that the property hereinafter described should
be annexed as Zoning Configuration R-1 , and
It further appearing to the said City Council that the
premises hereinafter described is owned by S. B. Pilcher but
no elecLors reside therein;

the Fourth Principal :�ieridian; thence North 8II°52 ' 30"
East, 182. 6 feet along the North line of said Lot 1,
Lincolnshire Subdivision, to the South�vest corner of

Section 2 . That this property shall be annexed zoned
as R-1, Single Family Residential.
Section 3 . That a certified copy oL this Ordinance,
together with an accurate map of tn� territory cescribed herein,
shall be recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of the County of
Fulton, State of Illinois .
Section 4 . That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after a majority vote of the City Council
of the City of Canton, Illinois , and upon approval by the Mayor.
PASSED by a majority vote of the City Council of the
City of Canton, Illinois , and approved by the �layor of said City
