ORDINANCE N0. --5��L�
WHEREAS , it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton,
Illinois , that the territory hereinafter described is not within
the corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the
City of Canton , Illinois ; and
WHEREAS, it further appears to the said City Council that no
electors reside in said territory hereinafter described, and the
owners of record of all the land within said territory have requested
that it be annexed to said city, as shown by the records of this
Council ;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS :
S�CTION 1 . That the territory described as follows :
A part of the Southeast Quarter , Section 34 ,
T. 7N. , R. 4E. , 4th P.M. , Fulton County,
Tllinois ,being more particularly described
as follows :
Beginning at the Soy,t ast corner of Lot 29
of E. � E. Johnson' s''� ddition to the City of
Canton marked by an iron pin; thence S. 0 45 ' W. ,
94 . 0 ft . , to an iron pin ; thence West 119. 30 ft . ,
to an iron pin; thence N. 0 45 ' E. , 94 . 0 ft . ,
to the South line of said E. � E. Johnson' s �
Addition marked by an iron pin; thence East
119. 30 ft . , along said South line to the
Paint of Beginning containing 0. 246 acres .
SECTION 2 . That a certified copy of this ordinance , together with
an accurate map of the territory above described, shall
be recorded with the Recorder of Deeds , Fulton County ,
Tllinois .
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be in effect from and after
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton,
Tllinois , and approval by the Mayor.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that Donald A. Cardosi and Billie J.
Cardosi , husband and wife , 950 S. Third Avenue , Canton, Illinois , being
tiie owners of the real estate described below, which lies at a point on
the West side of South Second Avenue� extended ninety four feet from �he
Southern terminus of South �econd Avenue in Canton, in consideration of
� ,
tiie City of Canton annexing the real es�tate described below and permitting
them to obtain city water and sewer services , they do hereby agree that
at ar.y future time the City of Canton proceeds to extend South Second
Avenue South, that they wi11 dedicate or otherwise convey an easement
to the City of Canton on and over a tract of sixty feet East and West
by nir.ety four feet North and South which lies immediately East of
the parcel being annexed, and which is also owned by Donald A. and
Billie J. Cardosi , at no cost to the City of Canton, expressly agreeing
hereby that this shall be a covenant running with the land and binding
on their successors in title .
