WHEREAS a petition has been filed with the Planning and Zoning
Comnission of the City of Canton, Illinois, by GARY BREWER, requesting
that the hereinafter-described reat estate be re-zoned from B-2 Special
Use to I-1. restricted to the function of ornamental iron fabrication
and retailing; and
WHEREAS, said Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Can-
ton, I1linois. has recomnended to the City Council of the City of Canton�
Illinois, that said real estate be re-zoned in accordance with said peti-
tion;
r�OW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAiNED BY THE CITY COUr�CIL OF TNE CiTY OF
CAt�TON, ILLINOIS:
SECTIO�� 1. That the territory described as follows:
A part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 28 in Township
7 North, Range 4 East of the Fourth Principat Meridian,
Fulton County, Illinois, described as follows:
Beginning at a point 100 feet West of a stone situated on
the South 11ne of the North Half of the Northeast Quarter
of the Southeast Quarter of Section 2t3, running thence
South 103.33 feet to the North highway right-of-way iine
of new Route 9, thence Westerly along said right-of-way
line 215.5 feet. thence North to the South right-of-way
line of old State Route 9, 155.5 feet, thence South-
easterly along said South right-of-way line of old Route
9, 200 feet to the point of beglnning,
BE Ar�D IT IS HEREBY RE-ZOPJED FROM B-Z SPECIAL USE TO I-i. RE-
STRICTED TO THt FUNCTION OF ORNAMENTAL IRO�V FABRICATION AWU
RETAILING.
SEC7I01� 2. That this ordinance shall be in effect from and after a ma-
' �ority "aye" and "no" vote of the City Council and approval
by the Mayor of the City of Canton, Illinois.
