I� �r ORDINANCE N0. �`� � WHEREAS a petition has been filed with the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Canton, Illinois, by ROBERT DeRENZY and TOLEDO, PEORIA & WESTERN RAILROAD, requesting that the hereinafter-described real estate be re-zoned from R-2 to I-1 zoning classification for the purpose of using said real estate for storage and garage; and WHEREAS, said Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Can- ton, Illinois, has recommended to the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois, that said real estate be re-zoned in accordance with said peti- tion; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1. That the territory described as follows: - That part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 7 North, Range 4 East of the Fourth Prin- cipal Meridian, Fulton County, Illinois, described as follows: Beginning at a point 130 feet East of the East line of South Seventh Avenue and 23 feet South of the center line of the main track of said railroad; thence running East 123 feet, thence South at right angles 87 feet to the North line of Grant Street, thence West along said North line of Grant Street 123 feet, thence North 87 feet to the point of be- ginning, containing 10,701 square feet, BE AND IT IS HEREBY RE-ZONED FROM R-2 to I-1 ZONING CLASSIFICATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF USING SAID REAL ESTATE FOR STORAGE AND GARAGE. SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall be in effect from and after a majority "aye" and "no" vote of the City Council and approval by the Mayor of the City of Canton, Illinois.
