Rezoning Lots 12, 13 and 14
B. H. Taylor�s Addition to
the City of Canton, Illinois
WHEREAS, it:'a�pearing to the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois
that the territory hereinafter described is suitable for use as multiple family
apart:ments, which would require a R-4 Zoning Configu��tion, and
It further appearing to said City Council that this property is located in
the City of Canton and that no electors reside thereon, and
It further appearing to the said City Council that the pre.mises hereinafter
described as currently zoned as an R-2 Zoning Configuration, single family
residential, and that the owners of said property have petition to aznend the
zoning maps of the City of Canton to reflect an R-4 Zoning Configuration in
order that said premises may be utilized for a :multiple fa.mily dwellings,and
It further appearing to the City Council that proper notice of public
hearing on said Petition for Rezoning was given and, upon hearing, that the
Planning and Zoning Co.m.mission of the City of Canton, Illinois, unanimously
reco.mmended the rezoning of said premises to an R-4 Zoning Configuration in
order that said premises be utilized for :multiple family dwellings,
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the pre.mises described �.s follows, to-wit, Lots twelve
(12), thirteen (13) and fourteen (14) in B. H. Tayloris A�ddition to the City of
Canton, in the County of Fulton and State of Illinois, be and the same is
hereby rezoned fro.cn an R-2 Zoning Configuration to a R-4 Zoning Configuratio
for the purpose of utilizing said parcel for the construction of .multiple faznily
dwellings.
Section 2. That the proper amendment be made to the Zoning Map of the

City of Canton, Illinois in order to reflect the change of Zoriing Configuration
as here and above set out.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after a majority vote of the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois, �nd
approved by the M�.yor.
PASSED by a majority vote of the City Council of the City of Canton,
