CP I D�OF TIME FNDING�J[JL�1IS19 6)E OF BUILDING PERMITS FOR A
YHEREAS, by Ord3nance No. 514, duly passed and a�opted by the
City of Canton, Illinois, effective November 4, 1975, said City
thereby regulated the issuence of buildiag permits for a period of
180 days therefrom for reasons and in manner therein set forth; and,
WFIEREAS, the reasons and need therefor yet subsist and will
subsist for yet a period of approximately 60 days from the date said
OrdiqQnce No. 514 by its terms beco�es no lopger in force and effect,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it and it hereby is ordained by the City
Council of the City of Canton, Illinois, as follows :
That applicetions for building permits involving vaeant areas of
property preaently zoned BI and B2 under the Zonivg Ordinance of this
City, or involving vacant areas of property presently zoned RI
through R4 or I and whereby the propoaed usage thereof would require
the utilizatioa of City water and sewer service not presently in
place and available, �hall be reviewed by the City of Canton for
that period of time folloNing the date said Ordinat�ce No. 514 expires
and by its terma becomes no longer in force apd effect to and including
date of July 1, 19?6 and prior to taking action and making final
deter�inatian with respect to auch applications.
PASSED by the City Council of t�e City of Canton, Illinois and
APPROVED b�► the Mayor thereof this v _ day of April, 1976.
