ate limits of any municipality, but is contiguous and adjacent to ±he City of

W h e r e a s , it further appears to the City Council that there are
no electors residing on said premises and that the owners of said premi�
ses have requested that said premises be annexed to the City of Canton, as

of the City of Canton, Illinois:

Part of the Southwest Quarter of th� �4 East f(the Fourth
Section 26, Township 7 North, Range
Principal Meridian, Fulton County, Illinois, described as:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the YMCA prop-
erty; thence North along the East right-of�t��ay line of
North 13th Avenue, a distance of 591. 01 feet, to the South
right-of-way line of East Myrtle Street; thence in an
Easterly direction along the South right-of-way line of East
Myrtle street a distance of 1370, 4 feet to the ��'est right-
of-way line of North 15th Avenue; thence South along the
West right�of-way line of North 15th Avenue a distance of
1259. 3 feet to the North right�of-way line of �ast Ash
Street; thence West along the North-right-of°way line of
East Ash Street a distance of 704. 2 feet; thence North a
distance of Z54. 95 feet; thence West a distance of 246. 2
feet; thence North a distance of 453. 34 feet; thence ��'ESt
420 feet to the point of beginning,
containing 31• 8S7 acres, more or less,
(The above--described real estate is located South of ivtyrtle
Street, VVest of the Canton Junim High property, Nor�herly
