ORDINANCE N0. ''��-2
}� �aHEREAS , it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton ,
Illinois , that the territory hereinafter described is not within
th�e corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the
City af Canton, Illinois ; and'
WHEREAS , it further appears to the said City Council that no

hereinafter described, and the owners of record of all the land
within said territory have requested that it be annexed to said
city, as shown by the records of this Council ; _
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. That the territory described as follows : .
� Part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 15 , in
� , Township 7 North, Range 4 East of the Fourth ----
`� Principal Meridian, Fulton County, Illinois ,
described as follows : -
i �- , - Commencing at an iron pin•. lOZ9 feet West ot the
� Northeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of said
Section 15 , running thence South 42T feet to an
� �iron pin, thence West 208 feet to an iron pin,
i thence North 421 feet to an iron pin, _thence East __
208 feet to the place of beginnin,g. - �
�`- �-" BE AND IT IS H�REBY ANNEXED to the City of Canton,
Illinois .
SECTION 2 . That a certified copy of this ordinance , together with
an accurate map of the territory above described , shall
be recorded with the Recorder of Deeds , Fulton County ,
Illinois .
` SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be in effect from and after a
two-thirds "aye" and "no" vote of the City Council of the
City of lanton, Illinois , and approval by the Mayor.
