The Meeting of December 9, 2013 was called to order by Chairman Jim Hartford
at 5:30 p.m.
Roll call was taken: Quorum present
Members Present - Jim Hartford, Ed Patton, Phil Fleming, Alan Dilts, Kay Long,
Maria Orwig, Kathy Lock, David Headley, Dave Pickel and Roy Hopper
Members not aresent were Mary Fillingham, James Elson Sr., Craig West, Justin
Nelson and Kent Janssen.
Others Present- Planning 8� Zoning Director, John Kunski 8� City Attorney, Nancy
Rabel
Chairman Hartford called for a motion to approve the minutes from the meeting
of November 4, 2013. Motion made by Phil Fleming and seconded by Ed Patton.
Motion carried with a unanimous voice vote.
Chairman Hartford read the petition for annexation into the City of Canton from
Richard Hefley on behalf of his mother, Betty Hefley for property located at 21
Marlee Dr.
The only question presented by Chairman Hartford was if the property is
contiguous to other surrounding property in the City and it is.
A Motion was made to send the recommendation for annexation to the City
Council for final approval by Alan Dilts and seconded by Maria Orwig. Motion
carried with unanimous voice vote.
A Motion to adjourn was made by Roy Hopper and seconded by David Headley.
Motion carried by unanimous voice vote.
The meeting adjourned at 5:35 p.m.
