RESOLUTION NO. 3465
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF DEMOLITION COSTS
OF THE BAR-V-ENTERPRISE BUILDING LOCATED AT 63 & 65 SOUTH
MAIN STREET TO BE REIMBURSED BY THE TAX INCREMENT FUND, AS
IT BECOMES AVAILABLE, OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois has
determined that it is necessary to pay demolition costs of the Bar-V-Enterprise Building
located at 63 & 65 South Main Street, Canton, Illinois to be reimbursed by the tax
increment fund, as it becomes available.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE.SOLYED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That the sum of Forty-one Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-four Dollars
(41,834.00) be paid from the General Fund to pay for the demolition of the Bar-V-
Enterprises Building located at 63 & 65 S. Main Street.
2. As Tax Increment Funds become available, the General Fund will be
reimbursed.
3. That the City Treasurer and the City Clerk of the City of Canton, Illinois, be
and they hereby are, authorized and directed to make the foregoing transfer.
4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton and approved by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at a
regular meeting this 18 day of May, 1999 upon a roll call vote as follows:
