ALDERMAN JIM NELSON, CHAiRMAN
Mayor Fritz announced that on April 24, 2014 the City will host a training session in Canton.
This training session will help the elected officials and department heads work together with
surrounding communities and agencies in the event of a natural disaster.
Chief Kent McDowell stated that Paul Riggio is a retired Captain with the State Police and has a
considerable amount of knowledge in conducting training session to prepare for large events.
Paul will be conducting the training session to be held on April 24, 2014.

CITY OF CANTON AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND
DELIVER SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS. #4052

CHANGE ORDER FOR THE STORM BAR SCREEN IMPROVEMENTS WITH KEMPER
CONSTRUCTION.
This project is at the storm buiiding that needs repaired. The cost of the change order is
$22,565.00 and is a bond related project..
Motion and second were made by Aldermen Ellis/Justin Nelson to approve the change order
for the storm bar screen improvements with Kemper Construction in the amount o f$22,565.00
from the bond funds.
