A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RELEASE OF CITY COUNCIL
EXECUTIVE SESSION MINUTES
WHEREAS, the Legal & Ordinance Committee of the City of Canton has
determined that it is necessary and in the best interest of the City of Canton to release the
City Council executive session minutes so they may be made a part of public record; and,
WHEREAS, the Canton City Council has made a similar determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That the executive session minutes of the Canton City Council from
December 5, 1995 through June 20, 2000, inclusive be released, with the exception of the
following: May 6, 1997; June 17, 1997; April 7, 1998; June 16, 1998; September 15,
1998; October 6, 1998; October 20, 1998; November 3, 1998; January 5, 1999; March 2,
1999; Apri16, 1999; November 16, 1999; and, March 7, 2000.
2. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to make the above referenced
executive session minutes available to the public for inspection and/or review.
3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at a
regular meeting this 1st day of August, 2000 upon a roll call vote as follows:
