WHEREAS, Dr. Keith Miller has accepted the presidency of Blackhawk
Community College and will shortly be leaving his post as President of Spoon River
College; and,
WHEREA5, during his tenure Dr. Miller has participated in many community
activities in the Canton area; and,
WHEREAS, his contributions to the City of Canton have been numerous; and,
WHEREAS, his leadership and participation in civic activities will be sorely
missed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois that Dr. Keith Miller leaves this
community with the best wishes for continued success in his chosen field of education
and with the hope that he will continue the tradition of community service which he has
established.
