If plans are required attach 3 sets. ~h-/7-~/ Date Approved District Engineer Date d ~ r Change in Plans No. 2 No. 2 -Bituminous Material (Prime Coat) -The estimate was in error in using an application rate of 0.1 gallon per square yard and 0.5 is more in line with the Standard Specification. This change is based on the actual quantity used. No. 3 -Bituminous Mixture Complete (Modified) 1-1/2" First Avenue Location 8A & 86 was milled. After milling there were areas where the existing bituminous surface was thin and came off the brick surface below. It was decided to place a leveling binder course on top to fill the depressions. This required an additional 120 tons of material. The parking lot at the southwest corner of Main Street and Locust Street (Location 64) was in very poor condition and also had a leveling course applied before the final surface and used an additional 70 ton of material. The cost of the additional material was due to actual used quantities. No. 4 -Bituminous Hot Mix Sand Seal Coat (Modified) The additional 369.81 tons are to fill areas caused by the irregular transverse and horizontal slopes. Also minor width or length corrections which differ from plan estimates and actual field dimensions.
