In attendance: Mayor Kevin Meade, City Clerk Diana Pavley, Mike Freeman, Dana Smith, Attorney

Mayor Meade called the meeting to order at 4:OOpm for the purpose of:
Discuss and consider and vote on application for a C/ass F Specia/ Event License as well as to discuss,
consider and vote on the revocation of a C/ass A Tavern License current/y held by Just to Make Friends,
Inc.
CLASS F SPECIAL EVENT LICENSE
An Application was submitted to host a wine tasting garden at Art on Main Festival on June 1, 2, 2013 at
Jones Park. The wine tasting will be 12:00-6:OOpm both days. The event will be meet all of the
requirements including the two required exits. Volunteers will be recruited to be gate keepers. The
dram stop insurance will be provided by Willet's Winery for the event. The event will have 22 artists
present. Willet's will only be serving wine during the event, and will have bottles of wine available for
purchase. The Bloom Box offers Willet's wines for purchase, but no other business offers this type of
wine for purchase. Someone will have a bartender's license--- The discussion took place about having
someone from Bistro 101 (borrowed) as a bartender for the event.
Motion and second were made by Mike/Mayor Meade to approve the event and send to Council for
consideration.
The motion carried by voice vote and was unanimous.
JUST TO MAKE FRIENDS. INC.
Just To Make Friends, Inc. has been closed for about one month. The State of Illinois sent notification
that they failed to pay their sales tax beginning in August 2012 thru today's date. A hearing took place
at the State of Illinois, and they failed to appear and make the payment current. The State revoked their
liquor license. Mayor Meade stated that without a State license, they can't have a City license. This will
open up this license for someone else if they are interested.
Motion and second were made by Mike Freeman/Mayor Meade to revoke the liquor license for Just to
Make Friends Inc.
The motion carried by voice vote and was unanimous.

business.
