AN AMENDED RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF BIDS IN
THE WATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Canton advertised for bids for improvements to the

water system of the City of Canton; and for bids for water meter replacements; and,
WHEREAS, the low bidders were Leander Construction in the amount of
$384,000.00; and Badger Meter Company in the amount of $664,107.00 respectively;
and,
WHEREAS, the City's Engineering Consultants, Crawford, Murphy & Tilly and
Maurer -Stutz have approved the form of the bids and have recommended acceptance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF CANTON,
Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That the bids of Leander Construction and Badger Meter Company as
hereinbefore stated shall be accepted subject to approval by the Illinois EPA of the loan
applied for by the City.
2. That this Amended Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois and approval by the
Mayor thereof and that Resolutions 3559 and 3560 be and they are hereby rescinded.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, at a regular
meeting this 20"' day of March, 2001, upon a roll call vote as follows:
