AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE/HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT
FOR THE OPERATION OF SEWING & ALTERATIONS AT 752 WEST WALNUT
STREET, CANTON, ILLINOIS TO RONALD AND BUBA WHITE.
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois, that the territory hereinafter described is located within the corporate limits of the
City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a petition was filed by Ronald and Buba White renters of said real
estate to the Planning and Zoning Commission of said City requesting a special use; and,
WHEREAS, notice of a petition for a special use permit in a R-2 zoning was
published within said City and County, all in accordances with the Statutes of Illinois and
the Ordinances of the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, no objectors appeared at said hearings and said commission did
thereupon make favorable findings of fact and did recommend to the Canton City Council
that said special use/home occupation for the sewing and alterations at 752 West Walnut
Street, Canton, Illinois.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, hereby
finds the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That a special use permit for the home occupation of sewing and alterations
be issued to Ronald and Buba White at 725 West Walnut Street,
Canton, Illinois, affecting real property being legally described as follows:
Babcocks 3rd Quality Hill Addition, Lots 9 & 10, and Part of Vacated Alley
South of Lot 9; Section Lot 10, situated in the City of Canton, County of Ful-
ton and State of Illinois.
3. That the record of the City of Canton, appropriate documents, maps and
related regulations be and the same hereby are, amended to reflect the
foregoing special use permit granted herein.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, at a
regular meeting this 17th day of October 2000 upon a roll call vote as
follows:
