Patel, Judy McGinnis
Liquor License Application for Real Camino Supper Club
An application was submitted by Elvira Onate. Ms. Onate was not present for the hearing and
because she is the applicant and owns 100% of the Real Camino restaurant, it is necessary for
her to be present for the hearing. The hearing will therefore be continued to a future date and
another hearing will be set.
Eastside Char~e of Sellin~ Alcohol to a Minor
Judy McGinnis and Bipin Patel appeared today for a charge of selling alcohol to a minor on
March 19, 2012. Ms. McGinnis pled guilty to the charge. There was also another charge in
February for selling alcohol to a minor. Because there were two violations within a 12 month
period the Mayor's recommendation was a$500.00 fine and closing the store for 3 days in July.
Mr. Patel requested that a closing would cost his business thousands of dollars and asked if he
could pay a larger fine rather than having his business closed for 3 days. Mayor Meade advised
that the commission would take it under advisements and render a decision within 5 days and
let them know.
