ORDINANCE NO. 1706
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE/HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT FOR
THE OPERATION OF A BEAUTY SHOP AT 1052 E. WALNUT STREET, CANTON,
ILLINOIS TO ROGER BRAWDY.
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton,
Fulton County, Illinois, that the territory hereinafter described
is located within the corporate limits of the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a petition was filed by Roger Brawdy to the Planning
& Zoning Commission of said City requesting a special use; and,
WHEREAS, a notice of a petition for a special use permit
in a R-2 Single Family Zoning was published within said City and
County, all in accordance with the Statutes of Illinois and the
Ordinances of the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, no objectors appeared at said hearings and said
commission did thereupon make favorable findings of fact and did
recommend to the Canton City Council that said special use/home
occupation for a Beauty Shop at 1052 E. Walnut Street, Canton,
Illinois.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois, hereby finds the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That a special use permit for the home occupation of a
Beauty Shop be issued to Roger Brawdy at 1052 E. Walnut Street,
Canton, Illinois, affecting real property being legally described
as follows:
Lot number 1 in Block number 1 in Joseph L. Murphy's Addition
3. That the record of the City of Canton, appropriated
documents, maps and related regulations be and the same hereby
are, amended to reflect the foregoing special use permit
granted herein.
PASSED by tie City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, at a regular
meeting this nd day of September , 2001.
