ORDINANCE NO. i~o4
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE/HOME OCCUPATION
PERMIT FOR THE OPERATION OF AUTOMOTIVE DETAILING BUSINESS
AT 680 N. 9TH ST., CANTON, ILLINOIS TO WILLIAM DANIEL WEAVER.
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois, that the territory hereinafter described is located within the corporate limits of the
City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a petition was filed by WILLIAM DANIEL WEAVER to the
Planning & Zoning Commission of said City requesting a special use; and,
WHEREAS, a notice of a petition for a special use permit in a R-2 Family
Zoning was published within said City and County, all in accordance with the Statutes of
Illinois and the Ordinances of the City of Canton; and
WHEREAS, no objectors appeared at said hearings and said commission did
thereupon make favorable findings of fact and did recommend to the Canton City
Council that said special use/home occupation for WILLIAM DANIEL WEAVER at 680
N. 9th Street, Canton, Illinois.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois,
hereby finds the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That a special use permit for the home occupation of automotive detailing
business be issued to WILLIAM DANIEL WEAVER at 680 N. 9th Street,
Canton, Illinois, affecting real property legally described as follows:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
100 FEET OFF THE East end of 68 feet of even width off the North
end of Lot 6, Block A, EAST LAWNDALE SUBDIVISION, City
of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois.
3. That the record of the City of Canton, appropriated documents, maps
and related regulations be and the same hereby are, amended to reflect
the foregoing special use permit granted herein.

PASSED BY THE City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, at
a regular meeting this 4th day of September , 2001 upon a roll call vote as
follows:
AYES: Aldermen Molleck, Hartford, Sarff, West, Nidiffer, Meade,
Shores, Fillingham,
NAYES: None .
ABSENT: None .
