AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR HANDICAP PARKING AT 45 EAST SIDE
SQUARE IN THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, the Legal and Ordinance Committee of the Canton City Council has
determined that it is necessary, desirable and in the best interest of the City of Canton to provide
for handicap parking at 45 East Side Square in the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, the Canton City Council has made a similar determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois, as follows:
1. That the foregoing recitals are hereby found to be fact.
2. That a handicap parking space shall be provided on first two parking places North
of the alley that connects East Side Square with First Avenue.
3. That all ordinances, or, portions of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are
hereby rescinded and repealed.
4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage
by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois and approval by
the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at a regular
meeting this 3rdday of ,July , 2001 upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: P~ldermen Fillinghain, Shores, Meade, Nidiffer, west, Sarff,
Hartford.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Alderman. Molleck,
