AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR HANDICAP PARKING AT 325 NORTH 8Tx
AVENUE IN THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, the Legal and Ordinance Committee of the Canton City Council has
determined that it is necessary, desirable and in the best interest of the City of Canton to
provide for handicap parking at 325 North 8`" Street in the City of Canton, Illinois; and,
WHEREAS, the Canton City Council has made a similar determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois, as follows:
1. That the foregoing recitals are hereby found to be fact.
2. That a handicap parking space shall be provided on the first parking space
on the East side of Eighth Avenue South of Ash at the Nazarene Church
325 N. Eighth
3. That all ordinances, or, portions of ordinances in conflict with this
ordinance are hereby rescinded and repealed.
4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois
and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at a
regular meeting this 3rd day of July , 2001 upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: A1~r~n Hartford, Sarff, ?Nest, Nidiffer, Meade, Shores,
Fillingham.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Alderman P~lolleck.
