AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 8, CHAPTER 11, SECTION 7-5 OF THE
CANTON MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO RULES AND REGULATIONS,
PUBLIC CAMPGROUNDS
WHEREAS, the Legal and Ordinance Committee has determined that it is
necessary and in the best interest of the City of Canton to amend Title 8, Chapter 11,
Section 7-5 of the Canton Municipal Code; and,
WHEREAS, the Canton City Council has made a similar determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois, as follows:
1. That the foregoing recitals are hereby found to be fact.
2. That, accordingly, Titles 8-11-7-5 of the Canton Municipal Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
a Rates would remain the same as currently charged. $6.00 per night for
sites with no electric and $8.00 per night for sites with electric.
b Persons who pay for a week (7 days) would be charged for Six (6) days.
c Persons who pay for a month would be charged for twenty-five (25) days
d Persons who pay for the season (Six months) would receive thirty (30)
days without additional charge.
3. That this Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage by
the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, and approval
by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at a regular
meeting this 7th day of r~'y , 2002, upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Al-dern~en Fillirigh~n, Shores, P'leade, Carl, West, Sarff, Hartford,
Molleck.
NAYS: 'done.
ABSENT: None
