ORDINANCE NO.1727
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE/HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT FOR
THE OPERATION AF A NAIL SHOP AT 735 EAST MAPLE STREET, CANTON,
ILLINOIS TO MICHELLE CONRAD.
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County Illinois,
that the territory hereinafter described is located within the corporate limits of the City of Canton;
and,
WHEREAS, a petition was filed by Michelle Conrad to the Planning & Zoning
Commission of said City requesting a special use; and,
WHEREAS, a notice of a petition for a special use permit in a R-2 Single Family Zoning
was published within said City and County, all in accordance with the Statutes of Illinois and the
Ordinances of the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, no objectors appeared at said hearings and said commission did thereupon
make favorable findings of fact and did recommend to the Canton City Council that said special
useJhome occupation for a Nail. Shop at 735 East Maple Street, Canton, Illinois.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, hereby fords the
foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That a special use permit for the home occupation of a Nail Shop be issued to
Michelle Conrad at 735 East Maple Street, Canton, Illinois, affecting real property
being legally described as follows:
Lot S and the east half of lot 9, Anderson's Fourth. Addition to the City of Canton. Fulton
County, and Illinois.
3. 1"hat the record of the City of Canton, appropriated documents, maps and related
regulations be and the same hereby are, amended to reflect the foregoing special use
permit granted herein.
