HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #1746s ORDINANCE NO. 1746 AMENDING ORDINANCE #1697 TO ADOPT THE 2002 ACCUMULATIVE SUPLLEMENTS FOR THE 2000 INTERNATIONAL CODES FOR THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, the City of Canton adopted the Ordinance #1697 for the 2000 International Codes; and, WHEREAS, the Legal and Ordinance Committee has determined that it is necessary to amend ordinance # 1697 to adopt the 2002 Accumulative Supplements for the 2000 International Codes for the City of Canton, Illinois; and, WHEREAS, the Canton City Council has made a similar determination; and, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois, as follows: 1. That the City of Canton amend Ordinance #1697 to adopt the 2002 Accumulative Supplements for the 2000 International Codes for the City of Canton, Illinois 2000 International Building Code 2000 International Fire Code 2000 International Residential Code 2000 International Mechanical Code 2000 International Plumbing Code & Illinois State Plumbing Code of 1998 2000 International Private Sewage Disposal Code 2000 International Fuel Gas Code 2000 International Energy Conservation Code 2000 International Property Maintenance Code 2000 International Zoning Code 2000 ICC Electrical Code 2. That a certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office the City Clerk being marked and designated as the 2002 Accumulative Supplements to the 2000 International Codes are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this ordinance. 3. That this Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, and approval by the Mayor thereof. -~ PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at a regular meeting this ~~ day of J~~' , 20 03 , upon a roll call vote as follows: AYES: Aldermen Hartford, Sarff, ~~~est, Carl, Shores, Fillingh~n.
