RESOLUTION NO.--`~
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THL CITY CF CANTON, ILLINOISr
1. That the following described real estate, to-wit:;
Lots Numbered Two (2) and Three (3) in Barnes and
Jones Addition to the City of Canton, County of
Fulton, State of Illinois,
is no longer necessary or suitable for library purposes because of the
construction of a new library building on other real estate.
2. That the Board of Directors of the Public Library of the City
of Canton, Illinois, has offered to dispose of the said real estate to
the City of Canton, Illinois, for the consideration of X1.00.
3. That the said City Council consents and approves of the dia-
position of the real estate in the manner above set forth.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the ?Mayor this 4th
day of March A. D. 1958.

WHatEAS, because of tre construction of a new library building,
the Aresent.library building constructed on the following described real
estates
Lots Numbered Two (2) and Three (3) in Barnes
and Jones Addition to the City of Canton, situated
in the County of Fulton and State of Illinois,
is no longer necessary or useful for library purposes; and
WH~EAS, there has been filed with the Board of Directors of the Par 1i n
Public Library of the City of Canton, Illinois, a certified copy of a
Resolution passed by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois,
at a regular meeting of the said Council held on the 4th day of Nfarch
A. D. 1958, and approved by the Mayor of said City on the 4th day of
March A. D. 1958, consenting to the disposition of said premises by con-
veying the same to the City of Canton, Illinois, for the sum of X1.00.

That the premises above described be conveyed to the City of
Canton, Illinois, a Municipal Corporation, and that the Board of Diree-

are hereby authorized to make, execute, acknowledge and deliver to said
City such instrument or instruments as are necessary 'to make said con-
veyance.
